Born on 13 October 1941 in Newark, Paul Simon is an American folk rock singer-songwriter. His latest film is 'Smallfoot' (2018). He was awarded for the Polar Music Prize in 2012. He married Edie Brickell. 'The Paul Simon Songbook' is his first album and was released in 1965. He is a member of Simon & Garfunkel and American Academy of Arts and Sciences. He was a student at Queens College.
